The mission of the Friends of the Historic Genesee Theatre is to serve the cultural, educational and economic needs of the community by supporting quality diverse entertainment that brings smiles, laughter, warmth and lasting memories to every patron at excellent values. Our mission will be achieved by raising funds which will be reinvested in making the theater a catalyst for Waukegan’s civic pride and success as a permanent leader in cultural, educational and economic development in the community.
