With over 4,000 songs to his credit, Smokey Robinson is a music legend. He started his career as frontman for The Miracles, penning such hits as You've Really Got a Hold on Me, Ooo Baby Baby and The Tracks of My Tears. During his time in the band, the Miracles placed 27 songs in the Billboard Top 40.
Smokey was also chief songwriter for Motown Records, writing hits for other artists, including Marvin Gaye, Mary Wells and The Temptations (The Way You Do the Things You Do, My Girl, Get Ready).
Smokey went on to enjoy a successful solo career, producing great hits, like Being with You, One Heartbeat and Just to See Her, the latter winning a Grammy® in 1988.
