Jefferson Starship

As one of the most revered rock groups of the '70s and '80s, Jefferson Starship enjoyed incredible success, producing three platinum and eight gold records, plus numerous Top 40 Billboard hit singles.

The band took on several incarnations over the years, from the psychedelic Jefferson Airplane ("White Rabit" and "Somebody to Love") to the contemporary pop group Starship ("Sara" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now"). Atlanta Rhythm Section

After carrying the mantle of Southern rock in the late '70s, Georgia-based Atlanta Rhythm Section found success by leaning more into a polished pop sound. In terms of sheer talent, they were among the best bands from the South during their heyday.

Firefall

With their timeless melodies and gorgeous harmonies, Firefall led the soft rock evolution of the '70s and influenced a generation. During that time, they scored 11 hit singles and produced one gold and two platinum albums.
