Fans can't get enough of Black Violin! The classical hip-hop group returns to The Genesee, brilliantly defying genres with their signature blend of soaring strings and modern beats.

Joined onstage by a live drummer, keyboardist and DJ, musicians Kev Marcus (violin) and Wil B (viola) skillfully blur the line between hip-hop and classical music, creating a sound that's all their own.

The duo's popularity took off after winning Showtime at the Apollo in 2005. Since then, they've appeared on The Tonight Show, performed sold-out shows at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra, received two Grammy^® Award nominations and collaborated creatively with Kanye West, Tom Petty and Aerosmith.

With inspiration ranging from Imagine Dragons to Johann Sebastian Bach, their high-energy musical mash-ups will lift everyone out of their seats in a celebration of freedom from musical boundaries.
